PEACH ICE TEA

On hot summer days, there is nothing better than a glass of cold iced tea, it is refreshing and tastes delicious. The summer drink can be prepared in no time and can be sweetened intensively according to personal preference.

There are also almost no limits to the variety of flavors. Black tea or fruit tea are often chosen as the traditional basis, but more exotic teas such as matcha or chai are increasingly being used. There are also many sweetening options, such as honey, sugar, syrup, or sweetener. You can spice up the summer refreshment with herbs, fruits, juices, or spices, for example. 🌸

Ingredients

  • 1l water
  • 4 pcs black tea bags
  • 100 g sugar
  • 5 pcs peach

Preparation

Boil 800ml water and brew black tea bags for about 3 minutes. Let the tea cool down.

Boil 200ml water in a separate pan with sugar. Wash, pit and peel the peaches and cut into cubes. Simmer the peach cubes in the sugar water for about 5 minutes. Then leave to infuse in the saucepan for a further 45 minutes.

Mix the peach juice including the peach cubes and the black tea. Then refrigerate for at least 4 hours until the iced tea is ice cold.

Before serving, wash the lemon and cut into thin slices. Roughly chop the mint and stir in.
